Eligibility Criteria

The students aspiring to do the course have to be at least 17 years of age and should have passed matriculation from an accredited school. The student must pass the fitness test as well. The aspirants can take up the course either after +2 or after completion of graduation.

For UG courses in aviation, a student must have passed the 12th class with an aggregate of 50%. For pursuing the UG Diploma course in aviation, a student must have passed 12th with 50% aggregate marks. However, admission depends on the personal interview.

Syllabus for Pilot Training

First, a student is provided with a student pilot license or (SPL). After which, a student has to complete 15 hours of dual flight time with the instructor. The student must also complete 60 hours of flying time, which includes 20 hours of solo learning.

After the completion of these criteria, the student is given a Private Pilot License(PPL). After getting the Private Pilot License, the student has to complete another 129 hours of flying time to be eligible to get a Commercial Pilot License.

Career And Scope

By Choosing the Aviation course, a student opens a gate of opportunities for himself. Even with a Private Pilot’s License, one can co-pilot a goods aircraft. One can also get into the field as a trainer or instructor after the completion of the course and having a flying experience of 3-4 years.
