There are a few types of puddings that are prepared with a savoury flavour profile. Moreover, any type of sweet pudding is always prepared using cornstarch as the setting ingredient.
On the other hand, biscuits are prepared using flour and the end result comes to be a flat, firm and unleavened food product. Biscuits come in different shapes and varieties such as cream biscuits, chocolate biscuits, centre-filled biscuits and much more. Out of all these varieties, potato biscuits bring a unique twist with a savoury flavour profile. Potato biscuits bring the goodness of potato along with a crunchy and spicy twist in each bite.
This pudding recipe will have the richness of 3 hero ingredients namely chocolate, banana and biscuits. This Chocolate Banana Biscuit Pudding recipe can be easily made since there is no baking involved. For the preparation of this pudding, we will be using Sunfeast Marie Light Active biscuits as our main ingredient. Here’s a look at all the ingredients and the steps to prepare the Chocolate Banana Biscuit Pudding recipe.
Ingredients
- Sunfeast Marie Light Active 300g
- 5 cups Milk
- ½ cup Sugar (Powdered)
- ½ cup Cocoa Powder
- 4 tbsp Cornflour
- 2 Bananas (sliced)
Preparation of Chocolate Banana Biscuit Pudding Recipe
Take a saucepan and add 4 cups of milk to it, put the saucepan on a medium flame and stir occasionally till the milk comes to a simmer. Now, we need to create the Cornflour slurry.
To create the Cornflour slurry, take ½ cup of milk in a bowl and add the Cornflour to it. Mix the ingredient well to create the slurry and then add the mixture to the milk once it comes to a boil. Add the Cornflour slurry to the milk while continuously stirring it.
Take ½ cup of milk in another bowl and add cocoa powder to it, mix well to form the chocolate pudding mixture. Add this chocolate paste to the milk and stir well till it becomes even.
Now, it’s time to assemble our Chocolate Banana Biscuit Pudding. Take out around 20 biscuits from the Sunfeast Marie Light Active 300g pack. Take a wide glass bowl and assemble a layer of a few biscuits in a circular manner. The next layer would be the chocolate pudding mixture that would be poured over these biscuits.
Create the next layer by placing the slices of banana over the chocolate pudding mixture. Repeat these layers 2 more times with the last layer being the chocolate pudding mixture.
Now, put the bowl in the refrigerator overnight to create our delicious Chocolate Banana Biscuit Pudding. Serve a delightful portion of this pudding as per your choice.
